I think mm's changes won't be included in MP1.4.

 

But you can already use the transponder scan in current MP version, see http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/141_Configuration/TV-Server_Configuration/02_TV_Servers/9_Advanced_Tuning_Options/3_DVB-C_Tuning_Details for details.

 

You need to enter your "starting frequency" and "scan for transponder list".
