New to Mediaportal and need advice

That would also mean having to add more ram to my system and most likely hold me back fron getting a new TV card to which is the one of the reason I havent put Vista on my system yet / but then I guess I could take a chance for a card at Ebay, but then I am not a fan of windows Media Center ....
