New user..Setup question (1 Viewer)

I currently have my media collection spread across a few harddrives. I share the folders so my computers can access them over the network. I've got about 4 computers I want to be able to access the collection through MediaPortal. I don't care about live TV at the moment.


I have a few questions:

1. I would like to have imdb information and pictures available for my media. Is there a certain format I should have my media in? I just have my media files in a few single folders.

2. If I use the imdb scrapers on one computer, can I copy this to my other machines? Do I have to re-do this for each machine?
