New version & internet connection question (1 Viewer)

Hi you all...

the latest version of MP needs the pc to be connected to internet in order to download "something" during installation.

Is it possible to avoid this ?

My HTPC is not connected to internet , so i cannot install the last 0.2.2.0 version.


Any tip ??

Is the 0.2.2.0 version somewhere for full download ?

MP Install is looking for .Net 2.
Install this and it won't need Internet access.

It would be better for new users that want to know the requirments in order to install the 0.2.2.0 version without having to be on line that the following ....

WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe

..must be installed in their system.

Yes . Most probably it is .

But it is not always necessery that the pc you are working is up to date !

For lots of reasons ......

The requirement page states "All Windows updates", so more info it's not needed..................
