The webinterface team proudly announces the new upcoming release of the Media Portal webinterface. Our aim is to get things done untill the beginning of july so that you'll get the new version together with the next MP release. The features of the next version will be:

    -"Real Guideview" (not completed yet)
-Localisation support (see the webinterface in your language).
-Choose between AM/PM and 24-hour time format.
-Improved series handling with the option to select/deselect single episodes of a series.
    -Dots for recorded shows ;-)
    -Nice popup-information in guide overview.
    -3-days overview for a channel.
    -MP's showlogos are used.
    -IMDB lookup (OFDB/FRDB to come).
-Select Quality and Priority for your recordings.
-Redesign / better structure in many parts of the webinterface.

For the Localisations of the webinterface we need some translators for translating the language file(s). If you can translate the webinterface into any other language than english or german, please post in this thread or PM me here on the MP forums.

Does that mean the network logos that show up in MP TV Guide will now show up (without any copying) on the web interface?

    Hi Mike,

you have to seperate two types of logos. The one you are talking about are the channel logos. They will show up in the webinterface like they do already now. But there are also "show logos" in MP. Place a file called like your favourite series (the simpsons.jpg or friends.png) in your "MP/thumbs/tv/shows/" folder and they will show up if you look at those shows in the guide. Btw, I also didn't know and just learned of show logos by working on the webinterface ;-)

    hth,
    Maschine

Btw. some screenshots will follow later...

Ah, I was asking myself what these logos are good for - now I know one purpose of it...

    Hi everybody

and a big thanks to the first three translators :) We have volunteers for Norwegian, Swedish and French right now. Let's hope there'll be some more ;-)

Please understand that I'll send you the language files not before next week. I'm changing a lot at the moment and so also the language file changes sometimes. I would have to call you again and again to re-write several lines and so i decided to wait a little more.

Thanks again and have a nice Weekend!
