I've uninstalled everything pertaining to mp, and gave the beta a go. Don't like it because pretty much all of the plugins and the skin I like are not yet supported.
I'd be really surprised if that is the case. Have you seen -->this<--?

I have not yet tried the saf 5 or 6, which I assume is a codec pack?
Yes, SAF 5 is based on FFDShow and SAV 6 is based on the LAV splitter and includes the LAV audio codec as mentioned by Mew. I'd give SAF 6 a try. :)

getting the plugins installed and they all seem to be working fine, just as you guys said. i still have to tackle the netflix one, it gave me some issues in the stable version of mp. i have installed saf6 which looks to have kicked the issue of stereo only sound. i also went ahead and pm'e Hoborg for more info. i'm using the backdrop theme which is great........ slowly getting it setup how i want.

    thanks again

    Hi noremacyug

    - i've notice a few of my movies have IMDB in front of the titles now...... why?

Asuming this is in Moving Pictures, I have noticed the same issue in the last couple of days. Looking in the Moving Pictures issues log (http://code.google.com/p/moving-pictures/issues/list?can=2&q=&sort=-id&colspec=ID Type Status Priority Stars Milestone Owner Summary) issue 1040 indicates that it is an issue with the IMDb scrapper which RoChess has submited a fix for (it looks like the fixed IMDb scaper xml file is attached to the issue report).

    Mew

downloaded the fix for the imdb issue........ where in the crap do i put it? im looking in program data as program files didn't look too promising.
also downloaded infoservice. it came as a rar, not a self installer. where do i put the files after decompressing them?
