Newbie Developer - Where to start (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have been a devout MP user for about 8 years now, my only TV / Media centre in the house, Main lounge Server, Kitchen client, and two 2 bedroom clients. I am a bit of a python developer and would love to start getting into developing for MP and would appreciate a push in the right direction, where's the best place to begin?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I guess a good place to start - no matter what you want to do - is to be able to compile the code, so that's what I'd start with.
After that, it depends quite a lot on what you want to do with MP...
