Just downloaded MediaPortal for the first time - its picked up my dual terrestrial DVT/DVT2 card but hasnt picked up my
dual DVS/DVS2 card.
Any ideas what I have done wrong or is there patch to sort this ?

I THINK my card is a TBS 8920 TS capture card - it works fine with Windows Media Center but MediaPOrtal dosnt seem to like it. I'm running Windows 8.1 by the way and just about to upgrade to Windows 10

Thanks

    Hello and welcome :)

If it's a TBS tuner it should be picked up fine, no patch required.

Can you please use our watchdog tool option 3 ("export...") to grab a zip of the relevant log files and system information, then post/attach the zip file here?

    Regards,
    mm

MediaPortal's TV Server won't pick up tuners that Windows isn't aware of.
According to the details you provided, Windows is only aware of the following tuners:
    BDA Source Filters:
    TBS 6280 DVBT/T2 Tuner A,0x00200000,1,1,ksproxy.ax,6.03.9600.17415
    TBS 6280 DVBT/T2 Tuner B,0x00200000,1,1,ksproxy.ax,6.03.9600.17415

In other words, Windows thinks you have one TBS 6280 card which has 2 DVB-T/T2 (digital terrestrial) tuners.
There's absolutely no sign of satellite tuners.

If you're certain that you have a second card then I'd try rebooting the PC, checking Windows device manager etc. Until you can get Windows to recognise it, MediaPortal won't see it.

Hmmm, I don't think the driver is installed correctly. That "Devline" thing is actually meant to be part of the TBS 8920, and shouldn't be there. Please try reinstalling the TBS 8920 driver.
