First check on the Hauppage website for a newer driver, and install.
Second download CVS from today 23rd May and extract to the progams/team mediaportal/mediaportal folder, overwrite any files,
Go into MP folder previously mentioned and double click on Start.bat
Unfortunately this version is what RC3 should have been released as
many posts had problems with original.

    Reboot and enjoy

What he is saying is download an update that comes out every day. On the front page you should have a link for daily CVS files. Download the very latest. You will then extract the file into your mediaportal directory, overwriting all the files. You will then need to go to the MP directory and run the start.bat. After this, go into configuration and make sure everything is set up right. Now, run MP to see if the problems you once had are gone.

I suggest making a copy of the whole MP directory... just in case.

In Mediaportal setup, make sure to uncheck the box "grab EPG from DVB"
since this is a hybrid TV card.
I have the same videocard as you and Nvidia codecs is the best
on my setup on both video and audio.
In settings for your graphicscard make sure vertical sync is on and
    not runned by program.

Did u manually have to add these codecs?

Can i just ask - The TV card im using, is it a good card? It cost me £71 from Pc world (didnt pay for it as i used bonus vouchers i get from work. lol).
I know it says it is a hybrid card - what exactly is this?
