Hi
First post I've made on this forum, not sure if I've posted in the right place or not.
Simple Problem: when I change channels using my remote there is a 'green' on screen display showing the number I have selected but there is only 1 digit.....i.e if I press 37 it only displays the 3.
Is there anyway I can display 2 or 3 digits?
Not really a big deal but would be good to sort it.

    Hello and welcome! :)
This is a known problem which slipped in in MP 1.2.2 & MP 1.2.3. It is fixed in MP 1.3.0 Alpha.
Which MP Version do you use?
If you use MP 1.2.3 here is a patch which should work. -> https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...mber-appears-in-osd.104431/page-3#post-860311
Replace the old .dll with the .dll from the .rar (maybe do a restart of the tvservice.exe too after you replaced it)

Better backup the old .dll! (for example copy it to desktop)
    Thanks!

Thank you very much Holzi, that worked a treat.Maybe you could help with another problem. If I have set a scheduled recording can I put my computer into sleep mode?
I've tried it but the recording failed. Is there anyway I can save power while waiting for a scheduled recording? if my computer turns off disks etc will mediaportal be able to start recording?
Should I have posted this on a new thread?
Thanks again for your help it's much appreciated.

The powerscheduler component of TVserver should wake your htpc for the recording, but there are some pre-reqs for that to work. You computer will need to be able to wake up on a timer event, this is something you probably need to enable in your BIOS.

You might also consider installing PowerScheduler++ which has some improved features (like stopping you from destroying a recording by turning off your htpc while it is recording by sending it into a mode called "away mode").

If you cant get the wake to work, please post a debug log (see my footer for instructions).

I have managed to set the configuration to 'wake' up from system standy. The recording is made but my computer does not go back into 'stand' by mode afterwards.I thought that if I placed my computer in 'stand' by mode, the recording would start up my computer, record the program then return to 'stand' by condition.
Maybe I haven't configured it properly.
    Thanks for your help.

    EPG grabbing could prevent standy.

Think I've finally sorted the 'stand' by problem. But have another quick query: Is there any way to switch between different size Tv screens without having to retune to the channel I was watching? (It also switches off the Tv)
Same thing happens when I play a recording,if I change Tv size,I have to either resume play back or start from the beginning.

    Hello

What do you mean by "switch between different size TV screens" - do you mean resize the MP window?

    Hi
I mean switch between 'mini-mode' and full screen. When in 'mini-mode' you can toggle the window header so that you can go between the two modes.I hope that makes sense.

Switching between Fullscreen & Windowed Mode will stop the playing channel (Alt-Enter changes between the 2 states).

For not going back to standby: Please tell us the config you choose (my recommendation would be PowerScheduler++ with setting of htpc and let windows do the sleep timer). Also just gather logs after it failed to go to standby & post them here (Debug Mode has an option to grab current logs & zip them).
