NMediapc Wireless Remote & keyboard (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at the possibility of using the NMediapc RKR760 radio based remote setup and I'm wondering if MediaPortal will work with it. It calls the remote an "MCE" remote so I suspect it works just like an MCE IR remote but using 2.4ghz radio instead.

Anybody know for sure if it'll work?

Well I took a chance and bought the wireless setup. The keyboard and trackballs work great but the remote has very little functionality. Its trackball, OK button, and arrow keys work but none of the other buttons control MP. I can tell the buttons are sending signals because an LED on the USB receiver lights up.

I was looking at the MCE remote configuration but can't seem to see where I can assign buttons to actions. THe manual doesn't seem to say anything about the topic. Am I mistaken in thinking that I can assign buttons to actions by pressing the remote buttons kind of thing?

Oh yes, this looks like an MCE 2005 remote as apposed to a vista one.
