I have now update the LAV
Now I can hear the voice anyway if the sound is in AC3 but when I try with DTS I don't hear anything.
When I did play with PowerDVD and pick SPDIF OUT I hear sound and the recever find that I have "Dolby Digital D" and that is true.
The movie have both DTS and DD
After a while I have got MPC-HC to work with DTS and DD.
That I did I change the filter of audio to "CyberLink PowerDVD Audio Decoder (twinhan)" and inside that I did pick "USE SPDIF" in "Speaker Environment" and now my receiver show i the display DTS or DD.
The problem is that I can't pick that in Mediaplayer config, is not in the list in "AAC Audio Decoder" only in "MPEG /AC3 Audio Decoder"
So I guess it have to send the signal SPDIF but I have no idea how?
Hi
Yes it is strange but I don't know why it is that.
I have both S/PDIF and HDMI and I don't use S/PDIF.
In BIOS I have select HDMI and not S/PDIF to use as Digital output
Yes I have install everything and I can't ny error in my hardware list.
Oh is it?, I was thinking it maybe was AAC, but when I play a Dolby or DTS track nothing show in the receive.
I'm not close to my HTPC or receiver right now so if someone have more idea what to do I can try that later.
I have now disable the soundcard (Realtek) and only use now AMD HDMI Drivers.
MPC-HC can still find the DTS track so everything is fine if I want to use that player.
In windows 7 it is more easy to active HDMI but not in Windows XP
I can't run windows 7 because I have some old hardware that have no support for windows 7
