Deja vu all over again but this time with TV or TS

the line21 (CC) works correctly with DVDs but somewhat not needed for TVs or TS recordings

for TV a filter "CC Core Parser" is required for CC to be displayed and when added the filter the line21 is auto added to the graph (see screenshot)

for some reason it might be disabled by MP team? I think it more of a mistake than a bug.

Vff

btw... thanks for CC in DVDs

CC was added for analog broadcast only. For digital ones the CC Core Parser is required, which is not part of MP.

EDIT: Should've looked at logs first. From the My Videos module CC is supported only for DVDs. Playing back recorded TV from My Videos will not allow CC to be displayed. They must be played from TV plugin.

I've (and always have been) added CC core parser in the post processing for the TV section which allow CC in TV and recorded TS. (was watching with CC yesterday)

it worked fine with 1.1 (never tested with any other version after that except the beta 1.2)

Edit: I've removed the core cc parser from the tv's post processer and still have line21 in the graph which alone will not help.

    Screenshot added

Does CC work for Live TV? Does it work in Analog, digital both or none?
Does CC work if you open that movie from Recorded TV section and not from My Videos Title view?
Do you have CC enabled? (F9 -> subtitles -> CC1)? Subtitles - MediaPortal Wiki

    thanks for helping

we've got the handle on this.

    1:no
    2:no
3:no (now this is where i went into the config and enable it).. when it wasn't enable Ive gone from the remote on while tv was playing to enable it (it didn't stick hence it wasn't enable in config)

even when it was enabled... still no CC
I then noticed I've removed the core cc parser from post processing (for testing) and added it back and now we are rocking

CC is being displayed in recorded TV,LIVE TV and TS in video files

    :D

mark this as no bug but an end user "ID Ten T" error...............ID.10.T :D
