Have just done a fresh install of windows mce 2005 , all servicepacks etc
installed all relevant drivers and updates , so virgin system ;)
Downloaded MP 1.0 RC2 and installed - did not configure anything within mediaportal (single seat)
Downloaded latest svn and installed these , then went to configure TV-server , sees my floppydtv-S2 fine , scans fine and can preview channels. However going into media portal config , it says cannot create graph for this device ?? and theredfore I have no channels

Any ideas ?

HI check Server Manual point for point. test without Firewall.
Make shure that you have free cards to tune your channel

I am having this problem also. Mediaportal was working correctly, but one of my FloppyDTV devices has severe problems. So I started to turn one of the devices off (take it out of the case) and tested the other. Then I took the other out and tested the first one.

Now I have put them both back in, they do work and can be seen by windows. Mediaportal server program also sees the cards, knows the channels (can preview them), but in Mediaportal I get no channels; I can't switch from one channel to another. EPG shows no channelinformation at all, but when I turn on TV I get to see the last channel I was able to watch! I even get EPG information for the program running! When using the search option I even get to search all the channels and find programs...

I guess the server has messed stuff up by switching the two digital cards? How can I easily delete all channel information and do a rescan. Just a simple rescan didn't solve the problem.

I got the best function when I de and reinstalled TV Server after changing somthing at hardware. Export your channels and import it after reinstall.
Dont forget to map your TV cards again to the imported channels.

Ok, somehow in the process of testing my cards I accidently checked the 'hide all channels group' checkbox... that was causing my 'problem' with the 'lost channels'.
