no chapter in my movies (1 Viewer)

Hi. New to media portal. Downloaded the current release. Tried seraching for answers via forum and google to my problem.

Trying to set up systen so that ripped movies will play via my movies.

Ripped dvd with DVDfab so that only the movie will play without extra features.

Initially vob file wouldn't play. Default player is wmp 11 with ffdshow codec insatlled.

Installed power dvd 5 and now the movie will play so i assume it added the correct MPEG2 codec.

However whereas WMP allows me to move through the dvd chapters "My movies in MP" does not bring up any toolbar to allow me to pause or stop the film. If i press escape i can get back to "my movies" page and access the toolbar and pause or stop. However i cannot advance through the chapters.

My questions then are...

1. Where is the toolbar in full screen mode?

2. What's happened to the chapters that work in WMP 11?

My plan is to build a new htpc with Windows XP OS. This is a dry run on an old desktop at the moment.

Remote i button (info), MP is not very good at being run from either a keyboard or mouse, there is just not the functionality that can be accessed like a remote can (especially the mce remote).
