So maybe after all this could be also a possible reason for the delay?At the moment I have a hardcore setup, to force the error, where between stopping and starting timeshift is only 1-2 secs.  But the error also occured when I waited 10 secs. I have an SSD and timeshifting is only for max. 30 secs on a SD channel, so the timeshift file is very small.</blockquote>
