No DVB T2 HD found on TBS 6281 / 6205, in MP1 and MP2 (1 Viewer)

This is my first post in this forum.
I have been using WMC for many years, but it's unstable in many ways.
I have checked virtually all other Windows based Media Centers, and found MediaPortal to be the only alternative, especially MP2.

I have one problem though, when I scan for the channels, neither MP1 or MP2 (windows 10) can find any of the DVB T2 HD channels from my TBS 6205 / TBS 6281 tuner cards. Although MP1 and MP2 lists one form both cards, it can't be viewed, it says it is scrambled.

I have read that to solve this problem you can raise the scan time-out from the default 2 seconds to 3, this I have tried without any result, I have even raised it up to 5 seconds. And I have restarted the services after every change made and before every new scan.
My TBS cards works fine with WMC and all the other Media Centers I have tried.

I would be very thankful to anyone who can help me or just give me a hint.
All the best from Henrik.

It might be that the frequency/tuning information for your local transmitter is out-of-date (we rely on the user community to keep this information updated).

Have you tried scanning using the 'Europe. All countries' selection ? (warning - this will be slow, and might find channels on distant transmitters that you don't want)

Does it find the DVB-T (not T2) channels OK ?

    Hi OW

It finds all DVB-T channels well and the quality is fine.
The one HD channel that is listed is marked as DVB-T not -T2, and is not viewable in MP1 and MP2.
I will try the 'Europe. All countries' selection, that I haven't done yet.

It might take a day or two for me, since I have to reinstall an Image, we are talking about a family-tv, so I need a little time for myself to do it, but I will.
    I will report back.

Thanks a lot for your kind answer.
    Henrik.

If you can find the transmission frequencies for your local transmitter (or, better, all of the Danish transmitters), I'll compare it to the 'Danmark. All Regions.xml' tuning parameters file and see if needs updating.

Note that this is normal. DVB-T2 channels will be marked as T not T2. From MediaPortal's perspective there's no difference between DVB-T and DVB-T2.

I have wondered, so nice that you say so - to be sure.

You will get a rapport one of these days.

I did an Europe. All scan, and it worked, besides the one channel that showed up earlier, it still says its scrambled, but that is OK for me.
Thank you for the quick and most helpful answers.
You might hear from me again, but hopefully not. :)
    All the best Henrik.

Henrik, did you manage to find the Danish frequencies so that we can update those tuning details?

    Hi MM
I did find then, but at the moment MP is only on an Image, but next time I work with MP2 I will post them to you.
    All the best Henrik.
