Bought a SSd for system disk. Installed everything and configured almost everything.

Wanted to test Mediaportal, but only empty guide. I think I have repaired a mysql database in Mediaportal berfore could this be the solution and problem? How do I start the autorepair?????

xmltv plugin says it has imported a lot of channels and programs

UPDATE: I tried first to scan about 5 channels then imported guide data with XMLTV for those channels and tested with MP and it worked, but then I scanned the rest of my channels and then Nothing at all in EPG no channels names or data at all not evene possible to see the name of the channel group. Then I deleted all channels, but a few, but still not working.

Tried several FULL uninstallations and installations this night. Now I don´t have a working setup and the kids are not too happy. Guess the wife won´t be when she wakes:-(.

I really hope you guys can help me. Maybe somethinf I have not setup correctly?

Logs later, but the kids are watching a recorded cartoon.

I found a solution, but I don´t know what the problem is exactly. I did have 2 M3U files used for scanning for UDP channels before the reinstall I have tried to scan using both one at a time without problems, but guide only worked until I did the scan with the second M3U. It was time for some cleaning and I removed channels that was unnecessary and I gathered all needed channels in one M3U and then after reinstall number 10 or something I did a new scan with the one M3U file and now NO problem. Sorry I don´t think I have the time now to do much investigation maybe later. It requires a lot of time because I need to make a ghost of the working system, uninstall/install Mediaportal scan using the old M3U files and gather logs and in the end restore the system to the working state as it is now. And the wife and kids don´t like to much inactive MediaPortal as it is our onlt TV source :)

    Scan using M3U files?
    UDP channels?

This doesn't make any sense to me.

Do you have channels showing in the channels section of SetupTV.exe ?

Right now it seems as though you are having lots of problems. You.ve been around on the forums for 4 years, so you are obviously a pretty experienced MediaPortal user. However, whenever I see someone having problems all the time, I tend to suspect a messed up computer. MediaPortal is very stable these days.
