What do you think about the idea to not download the Various Artists thumb if the "Don't download Fanart for Various Artists" option is selected?
If someone don't wants to see the Fanarts he likely don't wants to see the thumb as well.

Thumbs is MP part, and need for Artist list view and other GUI part, then my answer no, sorry ...

That's OK.
I thought the Various Artists thumb only exists if Fanart Handler is installed and is independent from MediaPortal.

I have now deleted the thumb files, MediaPortal runs fine and Playing Now only shows the album thumb now.

Latests FH show Fanart and Thumbs for VA when other pictures not found...

Change in config file:

<entry name="ScraperMaxImages">10</entry>

to

<entry name="ScraperMaxImages">100</entry>

and enjoy

If this setting is changed in the config file the FH Configurator throws an ugly .NET exception:

This is because no value is selected in the drop-down list on saving.
Could you please add the currently set value from the config file to the list of values on initialising?

Now I can give the duplicate check and fixed Fanart update a stress test.

What do you think about the idea to disable Fanarts whose picture files have the Hidden attribute? This would make the Fanart maintenance much easier because users don't need to open the MediaPortal Configuration interface and can easily see in File Explorer if Fanarts are disabled or not. Disabling unwanted or similar Fanarts would become much easier.
