    Hi again folks :)

    @bopfrog: okay, cheers for the info. Please do update if you can remember to - I've seen this problem a few times in the past and only recently was able to put two and two together and figure out what might be going on. Another confirmation or rejection of my theory would be appreciated.

    @msj33: please provide *full* logs using the instructions in the link that I provided, or at least also add the tv.log. The error log suggests the problem could be (or could have been) with the database, EPG grabber or network, but I can't tell which without more information. The more information you can give, the better...

    Have attached another log, where Tv-server crashes 11:11 - I guess there is an issue with EPG & Powerscheduler........What your thoughts?

    Yes, looks like a Powerscheduler bug. Are you using PS++, or the standard PS?

    Hi,
    so things worked fine yesterday - usual recording all OK (news). Today, same issue has occurred. No scheduled recording done and either 'no free card' or 'unknown error' messages. Cannot watch live TV presently. After a wait, MP is non-responsive and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del.
    Logs attached. Had a quick look through the tsWriter log to see if there was anything at 17.57 which would be the start of the 6pm news recording.
    Network is working, wired internet access fine and MP machine has a static address.
    Power scheduler has never been enabled.

    Just remembered that I installed HMAVPN last week - have dumped this now in case it was interfering with network (even when not running). Stopped and re-started TVservice, and now have TV back again.

    @bopfrog: the symptoms in the logs are the same, and I don't have any new theories. Let's see how it goes with the VPN software disabled/gone...

    I'm using PS++

    The issue where somehow related to EPG & Powerscheduler++ - EPG for 1 channel (TV3 HD )hang - when disabling PS++ or disabling " Grap EPG when idle", this resolved the issue.

    Will try to enable "grab EPG when idle" later today, just to see if error occurs again.

    Bopfrog > Sorry for "hi-jacking" your thread - Thought our issues where related somehow.
