This is a clean XP SP3 with a minimum of codecs and MP and Winfast are the only installed apps. This same PC had worked for a year using webscheduler on one card and MP 0.2.0.3 on the other. Under 0203 most channels were OK but SBS would always be out of sync under MP. under RC2 the TV module seemed more stable but still had an issue with SBS. Under RC4 there were many more sync issues. The sync issue would sometimes come and go at the broadcaster's edit points, or when advertisments came on, or finished and returned to a TV shows.
Under versions previous to v1 turning on timeshifting would not help with any sync issue.

Under 0203 and RC2 applying the DVBhotfix would result in much worse behaviour making it unusable. 0203 was run under XP SP2. RC2 and RC4 were run on XP SP3.

Using the inbuilt TV engine V1 will not display live TV.
Symptons: Generally when the TV is tuned on Video and Audio is present and slightly out of sync. After 1 to 5 seconds the audio starts to break up and then drops out. At other times a channel change results in no audio at all and sometimes a blank screen as well. Generally, though buggy, TV viewing with timeshifting is OK.
With timeshifting, changing channels will also often result in a big jump back in the timeshift buffer, and at other times it is impossible to get to the END of the buffer after having jumped back.

This issue also occurs when using DVB radio.

TV Server - related prob?
Similar is experienced using the TV server and a different client. That is, changing channels will occasionally result in a blank screen or playback will commence at the wrong place in the timeshift buffer.

I will find another few hours to supply logs etc and start a separate thread, but it may take a couple of days.
DVB radio will not work at all via the TV server. "Unable to start timeshifting. Unknown error occured"
Analog TV works when the server is first started and changing channels is successful. Selecting a DVB channel results in future analogue channel selection failing - "Unable to start timeshifting. No video/audio detected".

I suspect this is related to Australia's different DVB enviroment and the new handling of TS streams and perhaps related to the the updated quartz.dll.
