If I use the Search function, for example to choose programs/movies in Genres, this doesn't work. It seems that MediaPortal doesn't even check if there is a conflict when using Search, and it schedules overlapping recordings.</p><p>Is this a bug, or is it by design?</p><p></p><p>It leads to the obvious issue of overlapping scheduled recordings, but that gives me the error "Cannot start timeshifting. Channel is scrambled". MediaPortal doesn't recover from this error until I fix it manually, so all subsequent recordings will fail with 0,10 KB files.</p><p>To fix this, I need to quit MediaPortal and open a channel in the FireViewer app which came with the FloppyDTV. When I start MediaPortal again, I once again get the "Channel is scambled" error, and then I have to tune to the same channel as FireViewer app had open, and everything is working again.</p><p></p><p>I'm attaching the tv.log of one such incident.</p><p>You can see that this recording was successful:</p><p>Ray Mears' Extreme Survival - BBC Knowledge - 2009-07-08 - 00_40</p><p>This one (and all scheduled recordings after it) failed:</p><p>Cities of the Underworld - History Channel - 2009-07-08 - 01_10</p></blockquote><p></p>
