Just wondered how difficult (or desirable) it might be to have user-selectable images sent by the server in the event of a problem, so in effect stream a still image rather than nothing.

For example, when tuning to a scrambled channel, rather that showing nothing would you be able to show channel_scrambled.jpg? If no stream detected perhaps show a no_stream.jpg

Sort of thing...

having got carried away with my own idea, good or bad.. you could even stream a short video loop.

sounds like one of those things that is unimportant but just adds to making things look polished, just nice to have
