I'm running MP 1.0.2 with KWorld U399 (USB) on XP SP2.
After having collected all the hotfixes, I've got it running. It was just like a wonder when I saw the TV picture in my MP :)

BUT... on the next day after reboot, everything seems to have been a dream :-(
When I turned on TV my MP simply froze or sometimes it's telling me problem with timeshifting. So, I searched the forum and found the dvb-hotfix (I've ignored the "too many bug" warning before). After installing the hotfix it still doesn't want to work. When I ran scan channel it keeps on saying "No signal".

I also got this error at the end of the batch file when I registered the hotfix: LoadLibrary("C:\dvbfix\psisrdn.ax") failed

That's strange because the file should be psisdecd.ll, you did not try overwriting the original file, and did follow these instructions.

    .:: download the dvb-hotfix ::.
unzip the archive to c:\ (this will create c:\dvbfix)
enter the "dvbfix" folder on c:\
Note: please just place it on c:\ because thats the safe way.
doubleckick the "runme.bat" which will unregister the broken files in "windows\system32" and register the new files in "c:\dvbfix"
    restart your PC.

NEVER delete the c:\dvbfix folder or dll inside.

The other thing to consider may happen and this does seem to be motherboard make related, the usb address for the tv card gets changed, so MP then cannot find it on a restart, to prove this may be happening, its easier to uninstall TVServer (not MP itself) and chose the remove database (2nd option) uninstall, once done then reboot and reinstall TVServer + plugin and then try retuning.

Otherwise use the logs collector from your START menu and upload them using the forums advanced + feature.

    Regards

I did follow the instruction and put it under C:\. All registrations went successfully. This is the last message pops up. I can see the file in the directory. Absolutely strange.

Looks like your are right. Sometimes after power off (zero power) XP detected new hardware. But that didn't happen after simple reboot, e.g. after driver installation. But sometimes XP still shows that the driver for the device is still working. I also noticed "system found new hardware" on my laptop everytime I plug it in. I already wondered how come it didn't recognize the previous installation.

Okay, now I've to try to uninstall the TVServer. I guess even re-image (one with successful TV install) my PC won't help because the TV tuner is new hardware again.
After tuning, how do I keep my TV tuner for each restart?

    Thanks

I did that. But it didn't work until I re-installed the TV driver. Then the TV image is back. But the TV-server config only shows one card while my device is a dual tuner. It did show 2 cards before. Then I re-installed driver and re-configured server. Now I successfully tuned two cards. I will test the reboot not so soon, maybe tomorrow :)

What can I do with dual tuner? Do I have to setup in order to watch and record two channels at the same time? Is PIP possible?

    Thanks

Now I didn't loose it for many days.
What I've done is plug my USB tuner to my PC instead of HUB. At least it didsn't say "Found new hardware" on each re-boot. But MP did lose the TV tuner. Then I upgraded my driver. Now it's okay.
