I'm starting to get "No signal" a lot... and on channels I know are fine (i.e work in TV card software with "very good" signal quality). Below is a list of things I have noticed:
+ The problem often comes up when rewinding/fast forwarding live tv and will sometimes fix itself when changed to play back at the regular rate.
+ Disabling time shifting seems to help the problem (not completley)
+ Its as if the new "no signal" box is too eager to pop up and isn't givng the card chance to get a signal lock before MP just gives up.
+ Certain channels seem worse than others - but hecking the frequencies against my tv card software shows they are the same.
+ When changing away from a "no signal" channel, just before it attempts to display the new channel it will show the "no signal" channel live for 1-2 seconds every time.
+ Quite often MP hangs when a channel goes to "No signal"
+ This is major to the point where the system is unusable (i.e you cant just sit back and watch TV, you need access to the keyboard to restart MP constantly).
