I was just wondering if there has been any progress on these thread.

I have a PVR 500 and I am running into the same problems in the above thread after a reboot. No signal, recording snow, tuner setup somehow reverting back to "antenna" rather than "cable". In short the turner configuration seems to be extremly unstable and seems to change at will. I am running RC3 with SVN 4-8-13-41.

Was this seen in 1.3?

I also understand that this code is bleeding edge and there very well may not be a fix yet. I also understand that the group will need more information than I have given here. I have seen MediaPortal logs being posted, but I am not sure how to create these or if they are already being created were to find them.

I am also still having the same issue, but less and less. It got a lot better after they fixed the issue where the frequencies were not being imported into the database after an auto tune. It seems to me that if the frequency is right, the channel will tune and you will get a good recording. Another problem is cable still = false. If I have the set up as cable this should be true 100% of the time and should not change. I don't think the logs are reporting anything that would show us why we get cable:false after a period of time. If there was, someone would have found it already. The only thing I can think of is that it is somehow grabbing the radio setting. This is usually at antenna but I always put it at cable, even tho I don't use it. I am hoping this will be looked at and fixed in the near future.
