Hello

Each skin I download doens't work after completing the readme instructions.
I downloaded BlackGlass 1.3.0; Bleazlewide 7.1.0; Blue3wide Retro 2.28.82; Monochrome.

None of these appear in the configscreen at the general-->skins item; only the 2 default Blue3 1.0.1.0 and Blue3wide 1.0.1.0 appear.

Anyone know how this is possible? Are these skins not compatible with MP 1.1?
If so, which one is? I am only using the TV Series and Moving Pictures plugins.

thanks!

My guess is that you have put them in the wrong place. Make sure they are placed in [HDD]:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin

I have put them in this folder:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin

Then you see the maps of the skins which like Blue3wide which contains a lot of xml files and a map media

Similar I have Black Glass which also contains a lot more of xml files and a map media and a map sounds.

So I'm quite sure they are at the right place...

With MP 1.0.2 it worked fine...

Did you even try putting them where I suggested?

    EDIT: OK I'll explain
In short: The directory for skins have been moved for 1.1. Your B3 files might be old stuff from 1.0.2.

yeah but I thought that the map programdata is the same as Programfiles? Because I don't have any programdata.

So I thought it is the same folder as you meant...

    Then try this:
Start menu -> All programs -> Team Mediaportal -> MediaPortal -> User Files (folder shortcut)

You should find the skin folder there.

    HTH :)

Aha! That's it! Program data was a hidden folder I had never heard of. Now it works fine! You're the best!
