No sound in My TV unless after reboot (1 Viewer)

First off, the program has improved so much in the past few years. I put together my first HTPC over a year ago, and that effort took some time to get it up and running. This time virtually no hiccups of any kind.

My problem is that I frequently enter MP and My TV and find there is no sound for the TV programs. Absolutely every other sound source works within MP, and TV sound works fine with the WinTV program that comes with the Hauppauge capture card.

I have found that if I reboot, and then enter immediately into MP and My TV, the sound will return.

Effectively, what I have found is that if I startup the HTPC and enter into MP and then My TV without doing anything else, then the sound works, but this is ONLY for tv. I can play music, hear the sound effects within menus, etc...

I find it odd especially since I can quit out of MP and run the WinTV application and it works fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Problem still exists

I have been trying to figure out some work around on this issue, and while I still don't have anything that remotely works, I have discovered that this is a problem exclusively with My TV. So in those situations where there is no sound within My TV, all other sound sources still work fine within MP.

Any suggestions?

This same lack of sound shows up in recordings as well, so I don't think that it is a simple problem with my sound card/setup.

Literally, all other sound sources work fine with the exception of my tv.
