No sound on right rear channel (1 Viewer)

When I play music or watch a movie there's no sound on the right rear channel while there is on the left rear channel. When I start the soundmax setup wizzard and check all channels individualy, they all work!

Any idea why this isn't working? It seems to be sofware since the setup tool from Soundmax can play sounds on all channels individualy..

When I start the soundmax setup wizzard and check all channels individualy, they all work!

Sounds like a codec is not sending the correct information to the default sound device.

Two choices, try and adjust the sound properties within codec, or try another codec.

Just a thought, how do these files play in WMP, same problem or ok.

Useing the test function in any sound device, over rides the settings anyway, might be worth checking the individual volume settings in the soundmax console.
