No sound on some digital channels (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I Have a problem that drives me crazy…
I’m running Mediaportal RC1 0.2.3.0 and TV-server Beta.

I live in Sweden and run Mediaportal with a FireDTV card. The cable-provider is Comhem.

I am having some problems with a few of my tv-channels. Most of my channels work fine with both sound and picture. But I have trouble with CNN and VIASAT GOLF. On those channels I get a picture but no sound.

Is there anyone else who has experience from similar problems? Is it possible to change the source of the sound in tv-server?

Hello Jofo,

you cannot change the sound-source in the tv-server. You should however try another audio-codec like dscaler for your tv-function (configure this via MediaPortal configuration). This should do the trick.
