I decided to have a go at getting HDMI audio working on my new ATI card but was unsuccessful and so reverted back to the on-board audio with digital coaxial out going to my receiver after disabling the HDMI audio device on my graphics card.</p><p></p><p>I then tested a few moves in MP and everything seemed to be working fine, I was getting 5.1 audio. A few days later I tried to listen to music in mymusic but I'm unable to hear anything, I've also since noticed that there is no sound when clicking on buttons in the menus within MP.</p><p></p><p>So on the face of things it seems I've lost stereo sound within MP, I tested with WMP and MMC and they work fine with a stereo source file. I've removed MP, cleaned the registry with ccleaner and reinstalled but still no joy. I've also used codec tweak tool and reset ffdshow and ac3filter to default settings but still no success.
