No TV display in MP running on XP SP2 (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

Ive trawled through here for help, but cant seem to find a definitive answer. I installed the latest MP and TV server on a newly built XP machine with SP2

Followed the pre reqs and patches etc as per the docs.

Problem is that I cant get TV to display, I can see the guide, set recordings etc, even the TV appears to stream, but no display or sound...

I can connect my Vista laptop running MP client to the XP TV server and TV works perfect.!, but not on the XP machine itself.. (

Ive tried everything I can think of, even changing the codecs to NVidia etc, but nothing, TV just doesnt display.!

Now have I missed something? its probably something really stupid, but I have played with this for hours now and its doing my head in!

Any wisdom would be much appreciated.!

Can you play other video files from myvideos?

Yes, I can play divx and wmv ok

Have you tried switching renderer between VMR9 and EVR?
