I have recentely installed mediaportal. I used to have a mce 2005 media center. Everything works fine (I am still learning/setting). But I have just set in the configuration that I want to use my secondary screen to start up MediaPortal. That works fine. But when I play a video or dvd I only get a black screen. The sound works ok.
Looking on the forum I read that sometimes this problem can be fixed by disable the VMR9 and enable the EVR. But that does not help. What to do. MCE 2005 on full screen has always worked.
Problem is solved. After re-installing the latest drivers and controlcenter for the ati x300 graphic card I am now able to look full screen video.
