I just can't get CoreAVC to playback h.264 video in Mediaportal. Outside Mediaportal there's no problem and it works fine with ffdshow inside Mediaportal (Besides the fact that ffdshow almost maxes out my CPU on 1080p). When i try to play a videofile (all h.264 files i have are in a .mkv container but that shouldn't be an issue?) all it does is flicker and then return back to the menu. I've done a clean install of Vista with only the following codecs: CoreAVC - version 1.6.0.0 AC3Filter 1.41 for sound ffdshow - the lastest build. This is what the error log produces: 2007-11-24 00:37:28.496429 [ERROR][MPMain]: VideoPlayer9: Failed to render file -> vmr9 2007-11-24 00:37:28.719429 [ERROR][MPMain]: VideoPlayerVMR9: Exception while cleanuping DShow graph - Objektreferencen er ikke indstillet til en forekomst af et objekt. ved System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(Object o) ved MediaPortal.Player.VideoPlayerVMR9.Cleanup() 2007-11-24 00:37:28.910429 [ERROR][MPMain]: PlaylistPlayer: *** unable to play - Z:\Data04\--==Movies==--\Test.mkv - skipping track! For those not fluent in danish i've translated the part in danish: "Objektreferencen er ikke indstillet til en forekomst af et objekt. ved" = "the object reference isn't set to an occurence of an object. at" I hope someone has an idea of what might be wrong. Your help would be greatly appreciated! [/QUOTE]
