Hi,

When I switch between a H264 coded HD channel to a MPEG2 coded HD channel, Mediaportal displays no video or crashes.
This is not happening when switching from a H264 coded HD channel to a MPEG2 SD channel or from a MPEG2 HD channel to a H264 channel.
This error occur in MediaPortal RC2 and SVN 19778 and not in RC1.
I tried different codecs but it keeps the same.

Logs are attched.

Regards,

Pascal

Hi,

I had too this problem. As soon as I used powerdvd 8 codecs, this behaviour was gone for me. Hopefully it works for you too.

I installed today the latest SVN 19876 and I have no issues anymore with switching between H264 channels and mpeg2 HD channels.

    just fyi :)

i have seen such a behaviour in the past, but it is codec specific.

    if i use i.e. MPV/MPA/coreavc everything works like a charm. :)
