Hi guys hope you can help me out.

I have hooked up my HTPC to my new Logitech Z5500 speakerset through optical cable. Everything works great except when i watch a movie in MP that has DTS or DD. The problem is i cant change the volume with the remote of my HTPC if its DTS or DD. If its Dolby prologic or Stereo no problem what so ever.

Thanks in advance :)

Is the DTS or DD decoded in PC or you just path-through to the receiver. If you only path-through, then the volume can't be adjusted.

Its decoded in the receiver. So this means i need to use another remote? Guess i need to buy that Logitech Harmony thing.

THanks :)

So you just need to adjust the volume on the receiver. Yes use Harmony (One?) and you will be happy. I'm also thinking about buying it.
