I love MP but I am having a real problem with MY Music.

Will ffdshow normalize my music output or am I wasting my time with it. I have a plugin for wmp called volume logic wich works great for wmp but doesn't get loaded for some reason when I use MP.

Any solutions would be great.

Please help.

enable the foobar2000 plugin and let foobar2000 handle the music.
Yes fb2000 is a pita to configure, but well worth it in the end!

You could also route everything through AC3-Filter instead of ffdshow..

I found a solution. I enabled the plugin for winamp and used volume logics winamp plugin to adjust the gain automatically. Works like a charm.
