MediaPortal Version: Mediaportal 0.21 Windows Version: Windows MCE CPU Type: Opteron 146 HDD: 400gb SATA Memory: 1gb Motherboard Chipset: Nforce 4 Video Card: 6600gt 1. TV Card: DNTV Dual USB Tuner MPEG2 Video Codec: NVIDIA MPEG2 Audio Codec: NVIDIA Remote: MCE Remote Hi Guys I've been flicking between MCE and Mediaportal since the very early days, There are many features I prefer in mediaportal (ability to FF and RW properly for one) however there is one feature that is preventing me switching from MCE to mediaportal full time. In MCE as soon as I have scanned my channels I can jump into My TV and press "9" on the remote and it will take me straight to channel 9 (sydney) keying "90" will take me to channel 9HD, "7" channel 7, "70" 7HD etc This basically emulates perfectly what a standalone set top box would do over here in Australia. However I cannot seem to find a simple way of doing this in Mediaportal. It strikes me as strange that it doesn't do it as a default and instead I have to press "enter" on the remote select the group and then select the channel within that group. Keying a number directly will change channel but they are more random with something like "7" taking me to channel 10 etc. I did a bit of researching and the only thing that came up was logical channel numbering but I'm unsure if this is the same issue and I thought it had been fixed anyway. I have tried mediaportal with select channel via index ticked and unticked with no luck. It just seems like such a basic thing which even MCE is doing right :) Hopefully I'm missing something obvious and one of you gurus can guide me in the right direction Thanks in advance
