Hi guys, i am hoping that maybe some will help me on this one. i have a SFF pc in my bedroom running xp pro with mediaportal on it.
It has a 40gb hard drive which 5gb is used. It uses onboard intel graphics card and a hauppaguge win tv hvr1300 tv card. my problem is i can get the tv to work fine with the supplied software it will play tv and record fine.
When i open media portal and try to turn on the tv i cant and i get the error not enough disk space. i am running the lastest drivers from hauppauge and the new version of mediaportal any advice would be great as i am just starting my media portal expererenice.

PS what is the web browser? i added it to mediaportal thinking that it was a internet explorer plugin but either its not or i am not working it right as nothing happens......?

sorry for sounding dumb.

Hi and welcome aboard :)

About the not enough disk space problem. Open the "Setup MediaPortal" shortcut on your desktop the go to Television -> Capture Cards, then select your capture card from the list and click edit. There is a field to specify the recordings folder. Just use something like "c:\capture" and try it out.

The web browser is doing what is says you just need to install this thingy: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/files/Download/Plugins/Web/MozillaActive-XControl/
But beware that this plugin is not developed anymore and it may have some bugs.

I hope I was able to help you. Just let me know if you still have problems.
