What does this mean? I found it in my MP log file:

I believe it is related to the option within MP to "Apply workaround to fix MediaPortal freezing on resume on some systems" shown in the Wiki here: Start/Resume Settings 1.2.0 * - MediaPortal Wiki

Two options to get rid of the error:

1) take the tick out of this option (if you have no resume freezing issues, then this not a problem).
2) change your windows security privileges so that user permission is not required when software tries to make a system change (my guess is that you are running win 7 or vista).

The "trick" is Description of how to enable the S3 system power state for standby when USB devices are armed for wake (if I remember correctly). No need to modify the access permissions but you could also modify the registry by yourself.

Disabled the tick 1) (Allow S3 Standby although wake up devices are present)
But the message is still there in the log.

I'll try adding:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usb]
"USBBIOSx"=dword:00000000

to the registry, by default this value is not available.
