I have only beed playing with TVSeries for a day or two now, and I am quite impressed so far. However I am having a problem understanding what to do with some episodes that the plugin is not finding a match for.

My two primary examples are Penn and Teller: Bullshit and Planet Earth (the BBC documentary). Both are on theTVDB.com, but I'm not given a chance to select the series from within the plugin. I was kind of surprised to see that I couldn't search for an alternative match either. All I can think to do at this point is rename the files.

So, what are they named now?
\\server\TVShows\Penn.and.Teller.Bullshit\Season.0#.DVDRips\Penn.and.Teller.Bullshit.S0#E##.Episode.Name-Src.avi
\\server\TVShows\Planet.Earth.Documentary\Planet.Earth.##.Episode.Name-Src.mkv

I could see how Planet Earth might not match because it's lacking any Season information in the filename, so I'll rename those, but what can I do about the Penn and Teller eps?

I think you will find that "Bullshit" in thetvdb is listed as "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!" which will be a hard thing to match with the ampersand, the colon and the exclamation mark. Note the specific name with the characters used.

For testing all this stuff I set up a virtual machine to run the TV Series plugin so I can muck around with parsing etc. I created a file called Penn.and.Teller.Bullshit.S01E01.Episode.Name-Src.avi and it parsed it OK but sure enough it could not find a show matching "Penn and Teller Bullshit" and prompted me for an alternate title. I tried just Bullshit and it only found one match - the correct one.

If you try doing this through the config screen you can get a lot more control. Once you have done it once then TVSeries has an entry that your series name matches the name on thetvdb and you don't have to do it again. Just a suggestion.
