I've been beating my head against the computer for the past nine straight hours trying to get any piece of PVR software to work on my computer.
I finally got mediaportal to install successfully, but I can't get the tvguide to update properly. I successfully downloaded the tv listings from zap2it.com using xmltv, but it won't show up on the tvguide in mediaportal. Also, the remote control doesn't work (it's an Hauppauge that came with the wintv-pvr-150). The good news is that the capture card appears to be configured correctly. It would be great if you could show me a guide to fix these problems. At this point, I can't believe that anyone can actually use a PVR.
