My computer seems to crash now every 12-48 hours, since I installed the KB918005 update. I thought this might be down to all the other stuff I tried prior to this update, so I did a clean reinstall of XP and SP2 and then tried again with this patch... still the same 
Oh well, at least there's some progress! Might just cut my losses any buy a different tuner card!??
