Hi PR,
Probably the only screen I'm not a massive fan of is the 'Now Playing' section. I've spent many (too many!) hours gathering very high quality album art for iTunes and My Music. I think that the album art should be the centre piece of any music media player. Most of my album art is 600px x 600px and I'm sure others have high quality art and would like to show it off on their HD displays.
I've mocked up an (absolutely shocking) screenshot - by hacking to pieces your skin. Basically I've centred the album art and made it 500 x 500 and added the metadata around it. Would it even be possible to have a small screenshot under "Playing next" of the album art for that song, maybe 100 x 100? The 'current playlist', 'global search' and 'lyrics' buttons could be added to a hidden bar much like in the My Videos section. What do you think to this layout?
I've had a look at the xml and I think I could hack it all together, though it may take me some time and will probably be about as 'neat' as the below screenshot!
Many thanks for your great work, as always!
