    1080p but I thought it would start at least

    It most probably has started, but just frozen up, as the CPU cannot cope with the graphics.

    My 6600-GT struggled a little bit with the 1080 as well, usually just the occassional stutter, 7900 no problems, smooth playback throughout.

    Yes, I can see that the CPU is at 100%, or actually PowerDVD.exe is (but thats the same in this case I reckon). I must state that other formats like WMV-HD plays without a hassle up to 1080p. Also MPEG-2. It's just this h.264 that doesnt work. And I still find it a little wierd that it just freezes and not even tries to play it with stuttering then, or at least show a single frame.

    The new drivers are supposed to do h.264 fine. Also read that other got it working on Geforce 6150. Oh, I must say that I got the AM2 version of 6150. This has a working freq of 475Mhz (http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=2002&page=2).

    Could it be that Cyberlinks MPEG-4 Deplexer is not working correctly, I really feel that I at least would get some kind of picture here.

    I have the same issues, and have had with 91.xx and up drivers.. I suspect the GFX card is overheating.. Haven't looked more into it though...

    Apart from that, 93.71 works like a charm on my 6600 - And I do suspect, so far, that they've fixed a stop error I had with MP.. Pasted :
    Code:
    28-11-2006 01:42:04 453 [ERROR] AllocResources exception:Error in the application.

       at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIImage.AllocResources()
       at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIWindow.AllocResources()
    I didn't report this as I was running a beta version of the Forceware Drivers...

    Cheers,
    /S
