Odd problems with MP (1 Viewer)

I've been running MP for several weeks now with reasonable success.

However, for the last few days I've had the "MP Crashed Unexpectedly" event, usually - I think - after a resume from standby. I have no idea why so I've attached the log files in the hope that someone can look at them and offer any suggestions.

I have also noticed a few odd things about recordings. I have at least one instance of an xml file existing in the recordings folder (and therefore showing up in the list of Recorded Programs within MP) but no corresponding TS file - so selecting the listed item in MP naturally produces no action whatsoever. I have an opposite instance of a TS file file existing but not the xml file - so I can't see or play the recording.

In the latter case I have created an xml file with the same name as t he TS file and tried to get the program into MP by using the TVServer database import function - but it doesn't show up. Any ideas on what to do here as I'd really quite like to watch the program!

I also have at least one instance of multiple copies of the same program appearing the list of recorded programs (i.e. at least 2 TS and xml files in the recordings folder). Since I have a hybrid card where I can only use one tuner at any one time I'm baffled as to how there can be more than one copy.

Have you changed the default recording folder path, did you do this for both of your cards in the dropdown list (not sure on this as have no hybrid card).

The mediaportal logs shows instance of MP already running, have you got the option to restart MP after resume enabled (MP config\general).

I had the multiple recordings happen once, ended up having to drop the sql database, and reconfigure TVServer, been fine since, so not sure what corrupted it, but know that fixed things.

Yes, I did have the option to restart ticked. I've now changed that and so far so good.

Most of the other issues were really documented to let developers know of problems in case they can see a trend and so set about fixing it.

The only one I'd really like to fix is the one where there is a .TS file without corresponding .XML file. Obviously the program has recorded and it's in the correct folder (no, I have never altered the default paths) yet I can't view it.

What is really needed, I suggest, is a simple "user friendly" way of forcing a rebuild of the Recorded TV database without having to de-install/re-intall the TVServer, or needing to start poking around with SQL. Even the Sky+ box has this!

In the meantime, can anyone suggest a simple way of getting the missing program into the database so I can watch it in MP? Simply creating a new .XML file didn't work so I am at a loss.
