old MSI based tv server still installed (1 Viewer)

I dont have logs since this is (should be) a fresh installation....

I keep getting the error message from the topic. Also when deleting all references form the registry to mediaportal/tv server, and using the option in the uninstaller to remove all previous files/installations. After performing that step i see no files anywhere, not in program files, nor in user files anywhere. So its a bit of a mystery to me where it gets that info from. And why did the "old msi based" uninstaller not do its job properly

I could fill in all from below but I dont think it would help since no MP is installed.

Here you go. Thanks for looking into this matter, it is much appreciated. Been bumping a few times into this error and always thought it would be fixed the next version

if you move the window with the error a bit to the bottom, I can see the first lines of the window installer screen. thank you.

If I do that with the first error the installer screen goes white so it wont show anything, when I click that away I get this error popup, but the text shows again, so here you go

"verwijderd" means removed in English. The small popup says "installation of program [mediaportal tv-server] failed"

Any news on this chemelli? I'd love to step over to the TV Server, also becuase of the builtin support not functioning really well anymore... Hope it will be part of the upcoming .2 release

We fixed the installer. Sorry you have to wait until 1.0.2...

No problem at all! I can record and watch TV fine with what I have installed now (.1) so I'm happy. .2 sounds like a must have so I can wait without an extra installation.
