To Diablokiller
Vista is a little different than XP in that the folder for your pics of games goes in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\myemuators\games There should be a folder in there that says computer put your pic in here with the exact name as the game and it should show up. Also, Program Data is a hidden file so you need to enable see hidden file in your folder options in control panel. Hope this helps.

Doesn't work for me, the Folder is

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\myEmulators\games\PC Games with an Infernal.jpg in it, nothing shows up o_O
The spelling from Pic+Game is the same

edit: uh, the forum puts a space between P and C, but on my PC it's correct^^

EDIT2: Ahh I've got it!
It seems like in List-View there is no Thumb^^
But the Image seems very small, even with the "Big Icon" View, in the old MyE the thumbs were very big, is it possible to make them so huge again? An option that describes how many games per Line or something would be usefull :)
Ah but I can live with it, finally

You might try different skins. I found that blue3wide and blue3 will cut off the pic at the bottom if it isnt square yet in streamedMP the pictures will stay in the same format (rectangular or square) Someone is working on a really cool streamedMP myemulators skin if you want to check it out. Go on over to the streamedMP forum in skins.

The Alt-F4 / Escape solution that work for me

I found it here

I'm using the back button because MP still catches the remote clicks. As of right now I have Project64, Zsnes, and Mame32 all configured to use the ESC button to exit. My setting in HIP looks like this
EXEC(C:\Emulators\SimKey.exe||[ESC]|SimKey.exe|1)
Also you need to add it for each emulator. Enjoy and I hope this helps someone

Using Simkey
Note: I'm using an MCE Remote with HIP
1. Unzip Simkey wherever you want
2. (Optional) Run Simkey to see what Special Keys you might need for your application
3. In HIP, click 'Add Value' & define the key you want to use. (I'm using SimKey with the 'Back' button and the 'Power' button)
4. Choose 'Execute Program' and select SimKey from where you extracted it
5. In the 'Parameters' field, type what key(s) you want SimKey to press

Example: 'Power' button on my remote
Description: Exit
Key Name: PC
Primary Command: EXEC(C:\Program Files\SimKey.exe||%[F4]|SimKey.exe|1)

Now, MAME32, Zinc, ePSXe, and ZSNES work with my MCE Remote & HIP!

HIP = Human Interface Programmer

You can program buttons with it, similair to eventghost.
I have a working solution within eventghost killing all my emulators (msx, snes, nes, project64, epsxe, pcsx2, gens).
Eventghost does a find window for me on pressing the exit button. If it finds one of the emulators it closes it, easy as that.

Just wondering if there's been any headway on the goodmerge front. It seems the local dev doing the goodmerge side project has gone AWOL with his source so no one can carry that torch :/. I personally (and hopefully others) have my entire collection neatly goodmerged so I can't use the MyEmulators plugin in its current state. The modified MyEmulators plugin for GoodMerge support hasn't been updated for 1.1.0's database structure so it isn't usable for me currently. I was wondering if there was going to be any near future support within the plugin itself (not just a mod) since I believe this to be a fairly important feature.

FYI goodmerge really just means 7-zip support, I'd like to see that too as 7-zip has MUCH better compression than zip or rar. there are plenty of .NET C# libraries for 7zip out there so it shouldn't be too much of a problem - just list 7z files along with roms and go to a second menu listing all the rom files in the archive.
