On-demand menus (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I quit Media Portal about a year ago. I had great success with it but not being able to navigate my on-demand menu from inside media portal made it unusable for me in the end. I checked back at a couple old posts I created asking about how to manage the on demand menu inside a channel but I still see no responses.
Can anyone tell me if this functionality is available yet? I have Charter cable and on demand is menu inside channel 1. I have not found a way to send an ir blast to access the on-demand menu. I am told it can be done but it was more complicated than I had time for.
If anyone knows anything can you please respond. I would like to start another tv server up. Media Portal is great. I am using windows 7 media center now but media portal beats the pants off it.

Were you looking to use your cable box with an analog tuner for your MP computer or for a CableCard setup?

I have a digital cable box.

Media Portal does not have any standard on-demand features but you could use an IR blaster to control your cable box. The IR Server Suite forum would be the best place to find details on setting it up. IR Server Suite (IRSS) - MediaPortal Forum
