Hello,

I'm new to MP 1.15 with Windows 7 Pro.
I'd like to know my options for the On Screen Display.
Can I configure the On Screen Display to show Audio and Video
format information (e.g., for audio, DTS HD-MA 7.1 or else). I know that skins
influence the Display. Can anyone direct me to a plugin or skin?
Is there a quick way to evaluate each possibility, or do I have to
review the candidates one-by-one. I'd love to see some screenshots
for the On Screen Displays!

Thanks

Hello again,

That's the skin that I have enabled.
After I click on "Y", all that displays in the middle
section of the OSD is the balloon with the circle and the
interior slash (the far right symbol in your Blues Brothers'
screenshot). The upper section of the OSD is blank, and
the lower section seems fine. Is there an extra keystroke
that I need to operate the OSD?

Thanks

Seems your file has not been processed correctly by mediainfo
Are your files in the database?
What are you using - MyVideos, MyFilms, MovingPictures?

    Hello again,

I decided to go the complicated route and install MyFilms.
I successfully installed the newest version of MyFilms plus
the four other dependent plugins. I configured MyFilms to
look for the Sample Movies database and imported the sample
movies using AMC Updater (I saw them import through the
    log window).
The problem is that I don't know what to do next. Once I
start MP, how do I view the sample movies database info ?
Do I have to further configure MyFilms beyond the default
General tab in MyFilms setup or should I be able to view the
    sample movies immediately?

    Thanks

    Hello again,

I finally managed to find some time to return to this post.
    I think I solved the MyFilms-related questions.
I had not noticed that MyFilms had added a selection
to the root menu (don't know if this is in the wiki). This gave me the
answer to my question "what to do next"?! I also had a problem
adding a folder selection to point to the Samplemovies information.
It turned out that the "hidden" attribute was selected for the
ProgramData folder. That prevented me from navigating to all
the underlying subfolders. Once I deselected the "hidden" attribute,
all the subfolders became accessible in MP, and, with the right subfolder
selected, the SampleMovies information became visible in the Films
    selection of the root menu.

As for the original topic, the on-screen display, I should have some time
next week to test it out with my Bluray and MyFilms. If I have anything
important to add I'll post again.
